Agri Gypsum

Even though gypsum is mostly used in the construction industry, an increasing proportion is now being used in a variety of agricultural and horticultural activities like as a mushroom compositing ingredient as a soil improver and in the land reclamation after salt water flooding.

Gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O) can also be used as high quality calcium and sulphur fertilizer. Comparing to many other calcium fertilizers available in the market, gypsum is fast acting and it will not alter pH of the soil. Also gypsum improves soil structure, water retaining capacities, accelerates earthworm activities which results in improved aeration, increased mixing of organic matter, improves root penetration and stabilizes organic components of the soil.
